Toscano Boxing Promotions is a company based in Stockton, California and founded by Jorge Toscano in 2018. Our primary mission has been to bring professional boxing back to Northern California and in doing so provide up and coming fighters a platform to showcase their skills. We pride ourselves on providing our community with high level competitive fights in a safe fan friendly environment. Every event we will strive to improve in all aspects of our shows such as attendance, production and the quality of our fights.
the start
In 2018, Toscano Boxing Promotions launched its first event at the San Joaquin Country Fairgrounds. Featuring local and international talent, the show was a sell-out success and was the first professional boxing event in Stockton in more than 12 years. Since then, Toscano Boxing Promotions has hosted several more events in Stockton, California and has also developed a growing International fanbase including Mexico, where it hosted the epic exhibition bout between Mexican legend Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. and Hector “Macho” Camacho Jr. This event also featured former World Champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. taking on UFC legend Anderson “Spider” Silva.
Although the lights and Cameras of the big pay per view fight are amazing, our first love will always be developing young talents and giving all professional fighters the opportunity to fight and develop their skills, often times no matter how skilled a fighter may be he/she will not get the opportunity to fight unless they are signed by a Promoter. In the early stages of a fighters career it is essential to stay active. Our end goal is to develop the next generation of World Champions while growing our local and international fan base But make no mistake, our desire is to become one of the top promotional companies in the game.
